Associate Professor, independent PI
Dr. Pashchenko received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Distinction honor from Saratov State Technical University, Russia. His PhD degree (2012) was received in Mechanical Engineering from Samara State Technical University, Russia. Prior to joining GTIIT, he was an Associate Professor at Samara State Technical University (2015-2022). Since 2022, Dmitry Pashchenko is an Associate Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering at Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Assoc. Prof. Pashchenko received several scholarships and awards, including the Scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for Young Scientists and Graduate Students, the Russian Ministry of High Education and Science’s award, Excellent Young Talents in Guangdong. Dmitry Pashchenko has received as a PI many research grants from the different funding agencies, Russian Science Foundation, Russian Foundation for Basic Research, etc.

Igor Kapilov received his BSc and MSc degrees from Samara State Technical University in 2019 and 2021, respectively. In 2023, he joined the ATE Lab as a Research Assistant. In March 2024, he enrolled in the PhD program at the Technion Graduate School under the joint supervision of two co-advisors: Prof. Leonid Tartakovsky (Technion – Israel Institute of Technology) and Assoc. Prof. Dmitry Pashchenko (Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology).

Viacheslav Papkov received his BSc degree from Samara State Technical University in 2023. In 2023, he joined the ATE Lab as a Research Assistant.
